Pack 114 is chartered by American Legion Post 39. We are a 2013 Gold Journey to Excellence Award Pack.
The pack consists of 6 dens of boys 1st through 5th grades for a total of 38 scouts!

PACK COMMITTEE MEETING
March 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Our next pack committee meeting will be held at the American Legion Hall at 3:00 p.m. We are in need of some parents to serve on this committee. Please consider giving 1 hour a month of your time to serve on this committee. Immediate positions that need to be filled include Secretary, Membership Chair, Uniform Chair and Advancement Chair.
BLUE AND GOLD

Our next pack meeting will be our Blue and Gold Ceremony held at the United Methodist Church in Floresville. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. This is a full Class A uniform event. Tickets are $8.00 each.
Scouting For Food
Scouting for Food is a regional-wide food drive led by local Boy Scouts with the goal of collecting 250,000 pounds of food for those in need. The drive will take place over two weekends: On Saturday, February 21, 2015, the Boy Scouts will deliver empty paper bags donated by H-E-B throughout their local neighborhoods. The bags have instructions on them for you to fill with nonperishable items and leave on your doorstop early the following Saturday morning February 28, 2015. Starting at 8 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2015, the Boy Scouts will retrace their steps, pick up the filled bags and then deliver them to American Legion Hall between 12:00 and 1:00.
Camp Card Sells
Camp cards will be available on March 1, 2015. You may pickup as many as you would like; however, you must pay for them at the time of pickup. The cost will be $5.00 a card and scouts will get $2.50 for each sell. There will also be show and sells available.
Scout Night on the Ice at the AT&T Center

A great fun filled camping weekend at McGimsey Scout Park. Special activities for Cubs include: camping in tents and earning as many belt loops as possible!. This weekend is for all Cub Scouts and one or both of their parents or guardian. The weekend is not setup for siblings. Early registration is $65.00 for the cub/parent team who register on or before February 22nd. After February 22nd, the fee will be $75.00 for the cub/parent team. An additional parent is $10.00. An additional Cub Scout is $35.00 (all participants must be from your immediate family). Your registration fee pays for Saturday lunch and supper evening snack and Sunday breakfast; all program supplies, insurance and a special patch.
Cub Scout Shooting Sports Weekend - Spring 2015
This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 & Sunday, April 12. Cub Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Belt Loop for Archery and BB gun and work on/or complete their pin. The Belt Loop will be on Saturday and the Pin can be earned on Sunday.
Members of the Boy Scouts of America nationwide are spending Memorial Day weekend showing appreciation for our men and women who served our nation by placing American flags at the headstones of fallen service members. We invite all Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts wishing to pay their respects to join us at this annual event.
Swim Lessons, Swim Checks
The new American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim Program provides instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. The objective is to not only teach people how to swim; but to be safe in, on, and around the water.
Alamo Area Council offers swim lessons, taught by certified Red Cross Instructors, from June 8th through June 12th, 2015 at McGimsey Scout Park Swimming Pool. There are three, 45 minute, sessions offered with 18 slots in each session. Anyone signed up for Swim Lessons will complete a BSA Swim Check prior to the end of class.
Soar into the stars at any of the 2015 Cub Scout "Space Day Camps!
Do your interstellar best and earn Belt Loops(and some pins!) in: BB Shooting, Archery, Hiking, Astronomy, Science, UltimateFrisbee and *Swimming! Take home science and art projects that would make E.T. proud! Twilight Camps will be offered once in June and once in July, each followed by a late-night STAR Party with cracker barrel and visits with the San Antonio Astronomical Society. (STAR Party requires a separate registration with a small fee, and is open to everyone!) Be among the First Scouts IN THE UNIVERSE to attend camp at the Mays Family Scout Ranch in South San Antonio!
